Community Involvement

Recently, Donald Reed was the United Way Peaks Chair, a founding member of the Mission St. Joseph’s Medical Center Foundation and chair of WCQS Public Radio.

He also served on the Community Benefits Committee of Western North Carolina and the Financial Committee of the Asheville Symphony and served as past president of the Family Service Center of Western North Carolina.

Because of his philanthropic leadership, he has earned membership in the United Way’s Leadership Council of The Tocqueville Society.
